You swear the monsters stay inside their keep
Concealed behind the fire that they breathe
Turns out they never were the enemy
Takes a village to stop a nasty Nook in a pristine place
Pulling fruits from the branches that grow them out at alarming rates
Fish for capital, fish for loans that may or may not decimate
Not really sure how I landed this home, but the landscape is awfully strange
Strain my legs as I run away
Eyes shine bright, is it him, or is it ambient light?
Keep a fire in this abhorrent weather now as it starts to rain
Suppose I’ll fester here and slowly pass as it’s all the same
Tangy’s home but her door is locked as her actions defy the pain
